Cream Puffs

Ingredients for the pasty:
1 cup water
8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 to 4 eggs

The Filling:
2 cups heaving whipping cream
1 cup powdered sugar
splash of vanilla extract

1. Preheat over to 475 degrees F degrees
2. In a medium sized pot bring water, salt, sugar, and butter to a rolling boil
3. Once the water comes to a rolling boil, remove the pot from heat. Add in flour to water mixture until the flour turned into a dough substance
4. Place dough in mixing bowl and mix in eggs one at a time until a smooth, velvety dough forms
5. Place dough in a pastry bag and place medium sized rounds of dough 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet
6. Bake for 15 minutes then turn the heat down to 375 degrees F degrees for 20 more minutes
7. Once out of the oven, let cool for 20 minutes
8. For the filling, mix heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and a splash of vanilla extract until whipped creams forms.
9. Once the pastry is cooled, cut a part of the tip off and scoop out any remaining pastry filling.
10. Fill pastry with whipped cream
11. Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top for garnish ​
